Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. Wish it were larger

I love the design of this fridge. I wish they made a slightly larger one actually. the only complaint I have is hat after 2 years the freezer went out an it was under warranty and the compressor was bad and needed replaced. Now my ice maker isnt working properly. It makes half of a a few cubes and then dumps water into the Ice bucket.

Great fridge until it breaks

We loved our fridge until the compressor went out in March. Its 4 years old so parts and labor are covered under warranty but it has been a total NIGHTMARE dealing with LG-- we are two months in and still do not have working fridge. They did send out a technician who diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts but for some reason they still cant explain to me the day of the actual repair appointment LGs computer program rejected the repair. So here we are weeks and weeks later waiting for them to find another technician. Its not worth any of this

I purchased my refrigerator in April and it worked beautifully Fast forward to September the refrigerator has stopped cooling. Ive had a technician come to my house three times with no resolve.I have since asked for a different technician with a different company and as of 10/31 my refrigerator is still broken. On the plus side the freezer unit works excellent.

When I call customer service they say refund has been approved and will take 6 to 8 weeks to process. That is too long to be without a refrigerator.

I bought this fridge bottom freezer three years ago. Worked great. Until it didnt. Apparently it was a faulty Compressor. Called LG because I didnt have the receipt from Home Depot. You actually need it to find warranty information from them. Anywho I called LG and the repair process was crazy easy and quick I must say it was nice to find a company that supported its products. I cant fault LG for a fluke compressor. But I do have a gripe the repair did take over a week to complete almost two And when the guy finished he scratched my fridge down to the metal in 5 spots on the door. Would have given four if he didnt scratch my door.

I bought this refrigerator about a year ago and could not be happier with it. I have the black stainless which just gives it a richer look and doesnt show fingerprints. The inside is nice and roomy and even when it seems its full there is still room for more. The freezer is plenty big and easy to access everything I have in there. It works very well and looks so very stylish. So far I love all the LG appliances that I have purchased. No problems

My LG refrigerator functioned very well for the first 18 months I owned it. Then it stopped cooling. I had paid for an extended warranty. When I called for service first they asked me to try to fix it myself which I did. That reset didnt work. I requested home repair service on April 30. Today is May 20 and I still have not received a service call. THREE WEEKS WITHOUT A REFRIGERATOR.

I love the refrigerator but the fact that Lg knew it had inferior parts such as the compressor having known defects and then to do a warranty call and having to pay over 600 dollars to have it replaced was ridiculous. If the part was known to be bad the call should have been free. I was told over the phone that it could cost up to that amount but could be less as I only had to pay for labor.. The compressor was the issue and the technician was only here for 1 hour and 15 minutes so there is no way I should have been charged that amount.very dis satisfied with LG. Will be reporting it to the Better Business Bureau.

We enjoy the updated appliance and the more space. The drawers for the produce took some getting used to the pull is at the bottom of the drawer not the top. The ice maker is quick to refill. The meat tray/deli tray is very generous in size and easy to keep clean. We like the way it keeps raw meat away from the other items in the refrigerator. Because of our room configuration the single door that could be changed to swing from the left or the right was a must.
