bottom rack plates large or small tip over won't stand up straight

Love that it is quiet, has third rack, stainless interior, love that we bought it new in 2023, but can't help but wonder if the bottom rack prongs are too short, none of my plates large or small will stay straight up, I have to carefully open / close the door or move the lower rack carefully so they don't crash into each other and tip forward like dominos. We have owned Frigidaire before and never had this issue; we have had these plates for 20 years. other brands we owned did not have this issue Samsung/Whirlpool/GE/Frigidaire 2015

I purchased a range, refrigerator, built in microwave and a dishwasher from Homedepot.com. Purchasing online, I was unable to actually look at the products before ordering. I am extremely pleased with 3 of the appliances I purchased. The dishwasher though is terrible. The racks are plastic and the plates don't fit in the slots. It says you do not have to rinse your dishes before loading, but if you don't the dishes come out dirty. It is very noisy also, so dont plan on watching Tv or going to sleep while it is running. Homedepot delivered and installed the appliances, so obviously I am not going to uninstall the dishwasher and try to return it. This is why I only gave them Frigidaire 3 stars. The company™€™s customer service is behond excellent. The range, refrigerator and microwave I purchased are quality made and look fantastic, but the. dishwasher in my opinion is a bad design and I can not recommend it.

When the decision was made to purchase new appliances, the most important aspect for the dishwasher was noise since we have an open concept floor plan. This appliance nailed it, really happy so far. Seems like the racks are lower to the ground than past dishwashers that I have had but still not a huge problem.

Still getting used to our new Frigidaire dishwasher

It™€™s very quiet, dishes are getting clean. We have only used it half a dozen times or so. What I don™€™t like is that I can™€™t turn off the air dry feature so in order for my dishes to get completely dry after a cycle I have to put it on the max boost dry cycle, which makes it run a lot longer and I think use a lot more energy because the mid dry cycle doesn™€™t dry them completely either. I can™€™t seem to find information on how to turn off the air dry feature. I also have to lock the panel in between running the cycles, Otherwise it tends to be pretty easy to hit a start cycle and if you go to close it tightly, it will start the washer. The other thing I™€™ve noticed is if we do close the door tightly with dirty dishes in it it™€™s so airtight that it can start to smell. So, we never close it tightly until we™€™re actually going to run an cycle.

Bad design for upper deck. There is only one top sprinkler for the cleaning process and the water for the bottom one has to go through the second deck to get to the utensils. After EACH washing cycle test I chose, the utensils were ALWAYS dirty on the bottom side. Therefore, I do not use the upper deck anymore and it is a waste of space. You should take another model where the upper deck has two sprinklers: one on top and one on the bottom.Cheers

Still getting used to it as I just had it installed a week ago.Cleans very well.Thicker plates are a little tricky to fit in between the prongs, but DO fit. And with a silverware basket and a top silverware tray. Have not needed to use the basket. Instead put bulky items in its place.Drying agent is messy to fill up.

I like the extra capacity of the 3rd shelf. It's great for the lids off my meal prep containers.Mounting setup is different from my old GE and made me concerned right up until I got the final alignment right. Now it's fine but please be advised it will feel kind of iffy until you get the alignment correct. The door close feels kinda stiff compared to my old GE also, I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. A positive close feel is good but I know that I will eventually start hip checking it closed and that probably ain't good for the handle.

I tried for 3 months to get an undamaged dishwasher from another manufacturer. I went through 6 different doors until the store told me I could choose another one. I chose the Frigidaire and so far it seems to clean well and be quiet. My only complaint is that they changed the tone of the black finish. It doesn't match my Frigidaire cooktop, but it is liveable.

We mostly use it on eco mode and air dry. Happy with the cleaning. We then open the door, dump water off any place it collected and then let it dry with the door propped a bit.However, the configuration inside is problematic; especially for stemware. While it has stemware holders, the first row of upright tines force the glasses to be propped on their bells and the rims retain water. You have to put the second row tines down. If the first AND second row of tines folded down they would work properly. Also, because of the first row of tines propping the glass up, the stem wants to pop out of the rubber holder. These are standard Riedel Magnum red wine glasses.

Spending a lot for a complete kitchen redo, I wanted the best I could afford.This product received excellent reviews online. I am impressed with the features (3rd rack for silverware, fold down rack tines), having only ever used a 20 year old dishwasher without those features. What really impressed me is how quiet the unit is. In a room with normal level of sounds you never hear it. If the room is absolutely quiet, you can hear a faint sound of the mechanism cycling. Thankfully, there is a blue downward LED that shines onto the floor to let you know it is running, and that changes to white when the dishwasher is done. Have not used all features yet as the kitchen is still being worked on, but I am very impressed with the quality and features so far.

We're Sold on Frigidaire Appliances

We just replaced a 23-year-old Frigidaire dishwasher with another Frigidaire dishwasher. The old one was still running like a top, but the wife decided that with new floors, we needed new appliances. Since we got such great service from the first Frigidaire dishwasher, there was no question what brand the new one would be -- Frigidaire!
